The Venues and Promoters SIG will continue to support the needs of South Yorkshire's music promoters, working closely with local venues.  Now in its second year, the SIG will be building on its terrific growth from year one. With the support of Jamie Wilkins (Scuba) the SIG has regular meetings with clear structured agendas and has tackled and resolved many important issues for local promoters. Promoters have been able to tackle serious issues that threaten their survival and at last build a collective voice that can be heard nationally.  A main issue of the SIG is to look for digital solutions to old problems such as fly poster issues, where the SIG is leading a potential solution in the forms of e-flyers.
