The d-SY Board is elected annually by the membership and is currently made up of 8 unpaid directors who are all directors of businesses in the creative and digital sector. Recently, Bob Holland (Bradwell IT Solutions) and Andi Stamp (MELT/The Culture Company) were elected onto the board of directors, details coming soon.

The Board is responsible for managing the £1m of funding awarded by
Yorkshire Forward and Objective 1 South Yorkshire to help develop the sector through provision of Digital South Yorkshire services.

> David Kay (Chair of d-SY) 
Co-founder of Sero Consulting Ltd and former Strategic Director of FD Learning Ltd, David has 23 years of experience in the IT industry. During this period he has been involved in some of the largest global learning and knowledge management projects in both public and corporate sectors. He is a member of the Yorkshire and Humber Digital Cluster Steering Group and the British Council Knowledge and Information Advisory Committee.

> Martin Manning
Martin is Director of the Cultural Industries Quarter Agency (CIQA), Sheffield, which takes responsibility for developing the contribution of the creative and digital industries to the economic and cultural regeneration of South Yorkshire. With a background in Finance and Consultancy martin has specialised in regeneration work since 1992, including large scale regeneration, economic and business development, social, housing and community/third sector capacity building.

> Yvonne O’Donovan (Vice Chair of d-SY)
Yvonne O’Donovan, founding member of the Forum on Creative Industries, Director of the Sheffield Cultural Industries Quarter, Digital South Yorkshire and the Site Gallery, is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She is member of the UK Digital Content Forum, an Associate Member of the Institute of Business Advisors, the Association of Chartered Accountants, and The Institute of Directors in South Yorkshire. Yvonne is also expert advisor to the EU Audio Visual Programme.

> Kevin Riley
Kevin has fourteen years experience of managing large, international projects spanning technologies as diverse as expert systems for telecommunications network maintenance, media-rich applications over virtual private networks and more recently, a number of projects focused on web-based learning and integration of distributed learning support services. Before launching his company, e-Loki (an e-learning technology consultancy) in 2000, Kevin spent five years as senior project manager with Fretwell-Downing Education. e-Loki has an exceptional client list that reflects his level of expertise in the sector.

> Ian Anderson
If Sheffield is famous for anything among the creative/design elite it’s probably The Designers Republic, founded by Ian Anderson in 1986. The company has worked with clients ranging between TV, Telecommunications and the Music industry, including the likes of MTV, Nokia and Warp Records to name a few. They have also been involved in more unusual projects such as consulting on the ‘identity’ of Quito (the capital of Ecuador), being invited to design the new flag of Slovenia and (currently) redesigning the corporate identity of The University of Sheffield.

> Peter Wood
Peter Wood is experienced in business management and project development on an international scale and ranging from small businesses to multinational organisations. He is on the board of directors for Wired Workplace, Cultural Industries Quarter Agency, Business Link South Yorkshire and Programme Director for Venturesphere.com and is currently CEO of Sheffield Science and Technology Parks; 40,000 square feet of workspace designed for use by new technology based businesses.

> Bob Holland
Bob is a Chartered Engineer with a background in industrial applications of ICT. He is currently running his own design company, Bradwell IT Solutions, which has developed a number of world-class products on behalf of its clients since it was formed in 1990. Bob is a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (The IEE) and is a past Sheffield Centre chairman. He has been a director of Dinnington Area Regeneration Trust for six years, presently leading its community wireless intranet project which is introducing high-speed wireless broadband services across this ex-mining community.

> Andi Stamp
Andi Stamp is Director of Melt - The new digital content development programme for South Yorkshire creatives. Previously: Director of Media for West Midlands Arts and author of the Birmingham and West Midlands Media Strategy, Media and Communications Officer for Sheffield City Council and author of the Sheffield Media Strategy. Andi has produced Television and Cross platform Media programming for The BBC, ITV and Channel 4 including: First Cut, gendering britain, Violent Britian and Shooting Live Artists and is also an ward winning Video Artist.
